Terms of Service

1. The service

Engomio provides software to run laundries: credit packages, counter orders, payments, branches, users and a customer portal on the laundry's own subdomain.

During the beta period the service is free of charge. We may add, change or remove features; we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce the service.

2. Accounts and users

Engomio is intended for businesses. Whoever registers a laundry declares that they are authorised to act on its behalf and becomes its first administrator.

• Keep registration details accurate and passwords confidential.
• Administrators are responsible for the users and profiles they create and for what those users do.
• Tell us immediately at geral@sourcepoint.pt if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Responsibilities of the laundry

Each laundry decides its prices, packages, credit validity, refund rules and the information shown to its customers, and is responsible for complying with consumer, tax and data-protection law towards its customers.

Tickets and receipts produced by Engomio are not fiscal documents. The laundry must issue invoices with certified software when the law requires it.

4. Online payments

Online payments are processed by Stripe on the laundry's own Stripe account. Engomio never holds the funds. Stripe's terms and fees apply to the laundry and its customers.

5. Data

The laundry is the controller of its customers' personal data and Engomio processes it on the laundry's behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy. The laundry can export or delete customer data at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use Engomio for unlawful purposes or to process data without a legal basis;
• try to access data of other laundries, test vulnerabilities without our written permission or disrupt the service;
• send unsolicited messages or resell the service without our agreement.

7. Availability

We work to keep Engomio available and secure and keep regular backups, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is announced whenever possible.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the previous 12 months and excludes indirect losses such as loss of profit. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You can stop using Engomio at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms. After a laundry is closed its data remains available for export for 30 days and is then deleted, except where the law requires us to keep it.

10. Changes and applicable law

We may update these Terms and will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes. These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to mandatory rules that protect you in your country of residence.
